Catalog description

Pre-requisites: HUMN 101 , GWSS 101 , or permission of instructor. Satisfies: a university graduation requirement–global studies. This course investigates various constructions of sexuality and nationality within global cinematic representations of intimacy, desire and the body. Students will develop media literacy skills for critically engaging with diverse cultural stories and images that communicate internationally diverse understandings of sexuality, gender, class, race and nation.
