Catalog description

Notes: Students first take the course for three credits and then repeat the course for three credits with 30 hours of field placement respectively. Pre-requisites: GNML 390 or instructor permission. Students gain teaching experience in a classroom setting specifically for world language teachers. Students receive instruction and feedback from faculty supervisors, who are responsible for the courses in which the practicum occurs. Emphasizes applying the theoretical knowledge gained in language studies by allowing students to practice teaching language skills in a classroom setting to bridge classroom learning with professional practice.
