Catalog description

Notes: Continuation of an introduction to geologic structures from GEOS 430 . Weekly field trips and laboratory exercises required. Pre-requisites: GEOS 100 and GEOS 430 . Corequisite: GEOS 431L . An exploration of the regional geosciences with context to tectonic setting. Introduction to the field study of geologic problems with weekly field trips that emphasize the collection and analysis of geologic field data to solve complex geologic problems. Companion course to GEOS 431L .
