Pre-requisites: GEOS 204 or 10 credits of upper division science or permission of the instructor. Includes the principles of meteorology, description and use of instruments, weather and climate controls. Students gain experience using contemporary data from NOAA/NWS and elsewhere for analyses in weather forecasting.
