Pre-requisites: ( MATH 142 , MATH 161 or MATH 200 ) and DSCI 245 and ACCT 251 and (either ECON 200 or ECON 201 ). Covers the application of basic theory and analytical techniques to financial decision making. It discusses the time value of money and capital budgeting, as well as capital structure and risk return trade off as they relate to the cost of capital, securities valuation, and capital budgeting.
