Catalog description

Pre-requisites: ENGL 201 and ENGL 273 . Digital Humanities offers a collection of methodologies and quantitative tools (i.e., computational analysis) to assist researchers when formulating qualitative arguments (i.e., textual analysis) on literary texts. The strength of analysis in Digital Humanities depends on the software, processes, and data sets, i.e., a corpus, which are used to identify patterns within texts, and it depends on conventional close-reading and textual-analysis skills.
