Catalog description

Advanced course with emphasis on models for reading, writing and language arts integration. Students will demonstrate knowledge of the interrelationships of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students demonstrate knowledge of how to integrate a variety of classroom-based materials, using a wide-range of curriculum materials and instructional strategies. Know how to plan systematic instruction using Common Core State Standards and current literacy research to guide instruction.
