Catalog description

Pre-requisites: admission into the Education department. Addresses the knowledge and skills necessary for working with families of young children, with and without disabilities. Reviews the effect of adversity on families and strategies for delivering family-centered curriculum and intervention. Focuses on understanding and measuring family outcomes. The broad components include: understanding foundations of theory and policy; establishing effective partnerships; and building family capacity through effective supports and service.
