Catalog description

Notes: required for all secondary education students. Designed to meet multiple required standards of the Professional Educator Standards Board. Pre-requisites: EDUC 331 . (These include INTASC, CCDEI, JMLSTI,, HLP, TIP, SEL, and the SOE Conceptual Framework). In this advanced methods course, students learn how to assess and implement strategies to support every learner. This course meets the needs of diverse learners by providing students with tools to implement MTSS, Universal Design for Learning, inclusive instructional models, high leverage practices, and differentiation. This course focuses on incorporating strategies into secondary classrooms to support inclusive education.
