Pre-requisites: MATH 107 or MATH 208 or equivalent. Concurrent enrollment in EDUC 454 . Combines early numeracy content with research based methods and strategies in order to prepare students to effectively teach rigorous, developmentally appropriate mathematics in preschool through third grade classrooms. Designed to give students an understanding of how children progress in their mathematical thinking and learning and how to facilitate high quality learning experiences.
