Catalog description

Notes: required for all secondary education students. Designed to meet multiple required standards of the Professional Educator Standards Board. Pre-requisites: EDUC 232 . (These include INTASC, CCDEI, JMLSTI,, HLP, TIP, SEL, and the SOE Conceptual Framework). Develops an understanding of how to cultivate inclusive, safe, and responsive learning environments that foster positive relationships with learners, families, and communities in the secondary school setting. Teacher candidates create a professional plan that applies social-emotional learning, trauma-informed and equity-centered practices to meet the needs of all learners.
