Pre-requisites: admission to DNHY Program. A histopathological study of oral lesions, pathogenic conditions of significance to dentistry and principles of general pathology. Topics include: basic principles of the disease process, overview of systems pathology, cell and tissue responses in inflammation, immunology, cell injury, cell adaptation, wound healing and neoplasia.
