Catalog description

Pre-requisites: CSCD 484 with a grade ≥ C+ or CSCD 584 with a grade ≥ C+; CYBR 525 with a grade ≥ C+; CYBR 480 with a grade ≥ C+ or CYBR 580 with a grade ≥ C+. Corequisite: 586L. Covers the fundamental AI methods, their principles, implementations, selection based on problem requirements, and performance evaluation. Topics include classic machine learning algorithms, learning paradigms, ensemble learners, performance validation techniques, evaluation metrics, model vulnerabilities and limitations, and model resilience. Programming projects to evaluate and analyze machine learning methods with cybersecurity datasets are included. Companion course to CYBR 586L .
