Pre-requisites: CYBR 101 with a grade ≥C+, CSCD 330 & CSCD 330L with a grade ≥C+. Corequisite: CYBR 303L . Covers computing security, including threat types, how computers become infected with viruses and malware, and how to secure computers and information stored on them. Possible topics include: operating system security, email security, internet security, browser tools, firewalls, and other defensive techniques. Includes hands-on practice with security tools and techniques. Companion course to CYBR 303L .
