Pre-requisites: CRWR 210 . This course is a study of the foundational texts in prose (fiction and creative nonfiction) from a writer’s point of view, considering various periods and stylistic approaches. Students will read literary fiction and creative nonfiction ranging from ancient to Modernist texts. They will learn how to effectively analyze foundational prose texts in writing and orally.
