Catalog description

Notes: One of two electives for CMSD graduate program. Of two electives, one is required; both may be taken. Provides the necessary skills and competencies to understand dyslexia, dyslexia diagnosis, dyslexia intervention, and the SLPs role in dyslexia treatment, intervention, and advocacy. Diagnose and provide skilled and evidence based intervention for dyslexia in a variety of clinical settings. Prepares graduate students for their internships & careers by providing an understanding of dyslexia as well as tools & resources for their education in this area.
