Pre-requisites: CHST 201 . Focuses on analyzing Chicano Latino Education within the context of the U.S. and its political-economic interests and system. Provides an understanding of how historical, social, and political economic forces impact the U.S. Chicano/Latino educational experience. In addition, connecting the historical condition of Chicano/Latino education in the U.S., with contemporary issues and trends.
