Pre-requisites: CHST 202 or CHST 218 . Satisfies: a university graduation requirement–diversity. Introduces social liberation movements' theories and practices and struggles to be free through change. The focus is on the liberation struggles, movements, and social change of historically marginalized populations in the U.S. Examination of the role of media in today's political activism.
