Pre-requisites: graduate standing in the MA in Child Life program. Academic course taken in parallel with a 600-hour Child Life Internship. Provides university affiliation and academic support while students complete hospital-based training under a CCLS. Covers psychosocial assessment, preparation/coping, therapeutic play, procedure support, documentation, interprofessional collaboration, ethics, and family-centered communication.
