Pre-requisites: graduate standing. Provides a basic understanding of the role of research in child life and pediatrics. Topics covered include an overview of the strengths and weaknesses of popular research designs used in pediatric and child life research, appropriate statistics methodologies, research dissemination, and how to critically review child life and pediatric literature.
