Pre-requisites: graduate standing. Provides the foundational, theoretical, and practical knowledge necessary for designing and implementing community programs for children. Topics covered include--purpose, policies, and procedures related to community programming for children, development of programming and practice of direct service skills, recognizing and securing appropriate community funding, and community-based learning and research.
