Notes: PHYS 133 or PHYS 153 is recommended. Pre-requisites: ≥C in BIOL 172 , BIOL 173 , BIOL 270 ; CHEM 173 and CHEM 173L or permission from the instructor. Corequisite: BIOL 473L . Introduces the principles of neurobiology. Emphasis is placed on human neuroscience but examples from a wide range of invertebrates and vertebrates are used to best illustrate neurobiological principles, concepts, and mechanisms. Companion course to BIOL 473L .
