Catalog description

Pre-requisites: ≥C in MATH 141 ; or permission of instructor. Students gain the knowledge and skills required to conduct and interpret data analysis and statistics commonly applied in Biology. Key concepts of statistical analysis such as populations and samples, uncertainty, p-values, hypothesis testing, Type I and Type II errors, statistical methods and R programming language are covered.
