Catalog description

Pre-requisites: admission to the MBA or permission of the School of Business Director of Graduate Programs. Examines Staffing—the critical function of workforce acquisition, deployment, and retention—to enhance competitive advantage. It covers models and practical tools for the full staffing lifecycle. Topics include: strategy, planning, sourcing, recruitment, selection, retention, and legal compliance. A major group project applies these concepts to build strategic staffing systems in real-world contexts, developing the skills needed to effectively manage all organizational staffing.
