Notes: this MBA foundation course, a prerequisite to all MBA finance courses, does not count toward the required MBA degree credits. Pre-requisites: admission to the MBA program and permission of the School of Business Director of Graduate Programs. An accelerated course dealing with the application of basic theory and analytical techniques to financial decision making. Topics include time value of money, risk and return, capital management, cost of capital, option theory, capital structure decisions, dividend policy, and the market for corporate control.
