Catalog description

Pre-requisites: ART 325 or ART 365 or ART 381 or ART 425 or ART 465 or permission of instructor. An advanced media course that synthesizes traditional and contemporary sculptural art practices alongside ceramic and time-based media. Students engage with a variety of techniques and materials including wood, metal, fiber, ceramic, glass, plaster, and wax. Encourages students to develop project-specific processes tailored to their artistic vision. Emphasis is on conceptualization and the creative application of material processes.
