Catalog description

Notes: may be repeated for credit. Pre-requisites: junior standing. Introduces the time-based visual arts practice of performance. Students create works of art that involve combinations of performance, digital media, and installation. Discussion of artists and issues that focus on the body being both the content and the medium within works of art. An emphasis on research along with a high level of experimentation strengthens ideas and benefits any disciplinary interest.
