Pre-requisites: permission of the instructor, department chair and college dean. Individual learning and career development course with placement in a behavioral health agency. Placement in a behavioral health agency provides students the opportunity to learn and practice knowledge and skills required for certification/licensing by providing direct service to clients while obtaining agency supervision and support. Students in this practicum will enhance and refine their counseling skills with individuals and groups.
