Pre-requisites: ADST 302 . Review of the theoretical foundations of group dynamics and therapy as applied to substance use disorder treatment clientele. Exploration of the design, leadership, and applications of therapy groups via a combination of lecture readings and experimental lab activities. Emphasis is placed on learning to observe, understand, and guide the group dynamics as they occur.
