Catalog description

Pre-requisites: admission to MPAcc program, ACCT 510 or ACCT 351 or approved equivalent. This course provides students with an understanding of data analytic thinking and terminology to better prepare for an accounting career where knowledge of systems, technology, and data analysis will be required. This will be done using various data analytics tools and techniques. Students learn how to extract, transform, analyze, and present data to provide better accounting insights to various stakeholders.
