Catalog description

I, II. Pre- or Co-requisite: SWK 350 and SWK 354 and overall GPA 2.5 or above. Acceptance into the full social work program. This course will examine the value base of the profession and its ethical standards and frameworks of ethical decision making and apply principles of critical thinking to those frameworks in practice, research, and policy arenas; the importance of lifelong learning; and the use of digital technology and the ethical use of technology in social work practice. After successfully completing this course, students will be prepared to begin their practicum experience.
