Catalog description

A. Formerly CCT 580 . Prerequisites: INF 104 or CIS 212 or BUS 206 and BUS 304 (with a minimum grade of "C" in each prerequisite course), Junior Standing. This course explores the latest technological trends and their transformative impact on business practices. Students will gain an understanding of key technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, and automation, and how they are integrated into business models across various sectors. The students will be exposed to terminology, concepts, analysis, uses, ethics, and protocols of business technology. Credit will not be awarded to students who have credit for CCT 580 .
