Catalog description

A. Prerequisite: Completion of 6 hours of MAT 300 level courses with a minimum grade of "C" and departmental approval. Directed study/ research on a problem or area chosen in consultation with instructor. Final paper required. Student must have the independent study proposal form approved by faculty supervisor and department chair prior to enrollment. May be retaken to maximum of six hours.
