I, II. Recommended: GER 102 or equivalent proficiency. German conversation, grammar, and other language skills with increased emphasis on developing basic writing and reading skills. Taught in a cultural context. Laboratory work required. Students entering GER 201 by referral or placement receive six hours credit for GER 101 and 102 if they make an ¿A¿ or ¿B¿ in 201.
