Provides the student with the principles of Crisis Management and Risk Communication/Assessment by becoming familiar with laws that mandate risk communication, types, and approaches to risk communication, effective risk communication, importance of crisis management/communication, process of hazard risk assessment, and benefits of development and implementation of an emergency response program.
