Catalog description
A. Prerequisite: CHE 362 (C). Topics include types of mass spectrometers; qualitative and quantitative mass spectrometry, different ionization processes, sample inlet systems (including chromatography systems), and interpretation of mass spectral data. Credit will not be awarded to students who have credit for for CHE 420 , 520, or FOR 475.
