Prerequisite: completion of all academic readiness requirements in English and reading or completion of ENG 101R ; and Math ACT score of 19 or higher, or passing score on math placement test, or Math SAT score of 500 or higher, or MAT 105 or higher. Corequisite: CHE 101L . For students who plan to take no more than one year of chemistry. Basic principles of structure and properties of matter, chemical nomenclature and reactivity. Relates chemistry concepts to everyday life phenomena. A withdrawal from CHE 101 must be matched by a withdrawal from CHE 101L . Gen. Ed. E-4 with CHE 101L [NS]
