I, II. Prerequisite: ENG 102 or ENG 105 (B) or HON 102. Cross-listed as EMS 200 . An exploration if the diversity of Sub-Saharan Africa through an immersion in pre-colonial children's songs and games. The course aims at developing a deeper understanding and sensitivity to cultural diversity in Africa. Credit will not be awarded for both EMS 200 and AFA 200 .
