<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">GEM STAMPED: GEM 1: WRITTEN COMMUNICATION</span></p> This course provides critical reading and writing of expository and argumentative prose, including summary, analysis, synthesis, and academic research. Students focus on reasoning, argumentation, and rhetorical awareness of purpose, audience, and genre, critically evaluating, effectively integrating, and properly documenting sources.
