MUST BE IN THE REGISTERED NURSING PROGRAM TO TAKE THIS COURSE
In this course, students implement the knowledge and skills learned throughout the program to provide safe, competent patient care and prepare to move into the registered nurse role. It provides hands-on experience in diverse clinical settings with a preceptor, reflecting realistic nursing hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Students must work the preceptor's schedule. Additionally, the student demonstrates learning in simulated environments, structured learning activities, and classroom sessions. This course is designed to assist students in bridging the gap between nursing theory and practice.
