Catalog description

This course allows students to build on the foundation of nursing practice by focusing on nursing care of acutely ill hospitalized patients. This course teaches medical-surgical nursing. Themes for the program include caring, clinical competency, and nursing identity. Students will provide nursing care to multiple adult clients in a variety of acute care settings. Instruction will be offered through multiple methods such as didactic, skills lab, online, virtual, and in the clinical setting.
