Catalog description

An introduction to the profession of music education and the role and function of music education and music teachers. Course discussions and activities cover the historical and philosophical foundations of music education, current trends in teaching, and personal preparation for service in the career. This course is open to all individuals interested in learning more about the profession. This course is required for advancement in the baccalaureate music education program.
