Catalog description

This course introduces students to the world of cinematic storytelling by exploring the nature, structure, and function of storytelling in film and society. Students will analyze how elements such as plot, character, setting, and narrative techniques effect the meaning and impact of a film. By learning the proper structure and components of a story, students will be able to understand, create, and appreciate film narrative.
