Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to legal issues in health care. Basic legal principles underlying the legal system, governmental regulation, development of legal rules, and how to interact effectively with legal systems as a member in the health care team. This course will examine the legal relationship of the individual and the community, and the legal relationship of public health in a market-driven system.
