Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce Communication Sciences and Disorders majors to the clinical aspects of the profession of a Speech-Language Pathologist. They will learn the requirements for entry into and maintaining membership in this field. They will have clinical experiences in a variety of settings. This course consists of classroom lecture and discussion, emphasizing speech and hearing screening, therapeutic procedures and techniques for various speech and hearing problems. Registration Restriction: Students must complete 30 clinical hours prior to enrolling in this course.
