Schools, Gangs, and Violence

Catalog description

This course will examine the various aspects of violence as they relate to the school setting. It will take an in-depth look at gangs, weapons, and drugs in the school environment. This course will discuss some of the more recent approaches from law enforcement perspective that have worked in combating school violence. All pre-requisite courses must be completed with a grade of 'C' or higher.
