GE: Human Anatomy and Physiology I for the Health Sciences

Catalog description

Students will explore basic biological chemistry, molecules, cells, histology, sensory organs, integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems from perspective of a clinical setting. Clinical and applied case studies will be utilized to emphasize the role of preventative and rehabilitative health care on anatomical systems. First course in a two-course sequence involving the study of the normal structure and function of the human body. Final course in sequence is BIOL 118 . This course is restricted to students in College of Health Sciences and course may not be used for credit toward a Biological Sciences major.
