Catalog description
This course introduces students to the normal anatomy and physiology of the cardiopulmonary system. Emphasis will be on the importance of heart and lung relationship. Topics covers will include conduction system of the heart, normal and abnormal electrocardiogram rhythms, and acid-base status. Prerequisite: Admission to the MHPC Respiratory Care Program through ECC. Corequisites: RSC*101, RSC*115, RSC*120, RSC*121, andf RSC*165
