Catalog description
This course is designed for the student to apply previously learned advanced scientific knowledge and nursing skills in caring for adults and children across the life span with complex behavioral health and medical-surgical disease processes. Leadership skills, prioritization, delegation, management of care and complex concepts are further developed. Utilizing scientific evidence to promote clinical judgement, emphasis is placed on the role of the registered nurse as the provider of care, manager of care, and member of the nursing profession. Prerequisite: Minimum grade of "C" in NUR 201 & NUR 202. Corequisite: NUR 232 & NUR 291. Pre/Co-curriculum requirement: SOC 101.
