Catalog description

This course covers various procedures in performing venipuncture and other specialized collection techniques in addition to laws and regulations for safe phlebotomy practices. Prerequisite: Admission into the MHPC MLT Program; successful completion of required general education pre-requisite courses, grade of "C" or better; minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5; successful completion of each course during each semester required in the MHPC MLT program, grade of "C" or better.
